SWAT Returns to Character Community Services for the 2024-2025 School Year
September 24, 2024
We are delighted to announce the return of Character Community SWAT Club. Character Community Services has participated in a community SWAT club since 2015. The past two years, Character Community Services pulled back due to low enrollment. This year they have stepped up again and rejoined the SWAT movement.
Mrs. Johnnie Hart, the CCS Administrator started the school in 2013, when she realized that there was a need in Dixie County for school choice for a very diverse population of students. The school provides small classes with more one-on-one educational experiences. The CCS SWAT club is a community club, where youth do not have to be enrolled into the school to join SWAT.
This year, Ms. Bianca Pope will be the CCS SWAT Advisor. This is Ms. Pope’s first year as an advisor, and she is excited to get the SWAT club re-started by participating in community events. QuitDoc Foundation and the Tobacco Free Partnership of Dixie County welcomes Ms. Bianca Pope.
